Ohlone Blackboard –  Ohlone College is a community college located in Fremont, California. This college has two campuses; the main campus is located in Fremont and the second one is headquartered in Newark, California. The Ohlone Community College District not only serves Fremont and Newark but also parts of Union City. There are 61 associate degrees that can be used to continue to universities or to lead to careers and 100 vocational certificate programs that offer job skill training to prepare students facing the real world. Ohlone College is one of the 112 colleges in the California Community College Systems.

Ohlone blackboard was formerly known as a California Community College in 1965. As aforementioned, Ohlone College serves not only Fremont and Newark but also parts of Union City that’s located in the southeast region of the San Francisco Bay area. The college district consists of a single college district with two campuses and a thriving e-campus. The college got its official name as Ohlone College on June 18, 1967. In 1966, the president of the college was elected and Dr. Stephen Epler was the chosen president at that time. The first class was opened in fall 1968 at the Serra Center and in 1972 the college began to build the new Ohlone College campus in Fremont.

Ohlone blackboard has associate degrees in the Arts and Sciences (AA and AS). The degrees are the same as the two year undergraduate coursework so students can continue to a 4-year university after graduating from this college. Moreover, Ohlone offers job training programs that can be finished in less than two year cycle that’s usually required for a degree. There are six other programs offered by this college include Center for Deaf Studies, Biotechnology High School Outreach Programs, Broadcasting Department, Registered Nursing Department, Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Department, and Respiratory Therapist (RT) Department.
