TAMUCC Blackboard – Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi or abbreviated A&M-Corpus Christi, or A&M-CC is a state university that’s headquartered in Corpus Christi, Texas, United States. The university was known as Corpus Christi State University, Texas A&I University at Corpus University, and the University of Corpus Christi before it joined the Texas A&M University System in 1989. It became a public university when the Baptist General Convention of Texas sold it to the State in 1973. The president of the university now is Christopher Markwood and there are 10,508 students in Fall 2012.

Tamucc blackboard has 33 undergraduate majors with 25 graduate programs and five doctoral programs in five colleges. First, the College of Liberal Arts offers 7 departments with 12 undergraduate and 6 graduate degrees varied from the arts to criminal justice and psychology. Second, the College of Education has teacher certification located in more than 30 areas along with three undergraduate degrees and 11 graduate programs as well as 2 doctoral programs. Third, the College of Business has 8 undergraduate and 4 graduate degrees that are accredited by AACSB. Fourth, the College of Nursing and Health Sciences has two undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Health Sciences and a graduate degree in Nursing.
Fifth, tamucc blackboard offers the College of Science and Engineering with 12 undergraduate and 5 graduate degrees in many areas include Computer Science, Biology, Environmental Science and Engineering. The Engineering and Technology program offers B.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) and Electrical Engineering Technology (EET). The EET program has three choices: Electronic Systems, Control System, and Computer System. On the other hand, the MET program offers Construction and Maintenance choices that all of them are accredited by Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). In addition, the Geographic Information Science (GIS) is also accredited by the ABET.
